The University of Michigan’s School of Nursing is seeking a Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist to join the Healthy Lifetime Program (HL) team.

The HL Program is focused on providing top-of-class services to older adults to support optimal health and independence in aging, offering virtual services and education. The program collaborates with various partners, including School of Nursing faculty, students, and other businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and direct Healthy Lifetime’s overall digital marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Consultant to integrate and execute digital/social media methods into marketing activities.
  • Create content for all social media platforms and beyond.
  • Manage social media accounts and analyze their performance.
  • Implement SEO optimization and create AdWords/marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee the CRM process.
  • Prepare marketing campaign materials.
  • Collect market response data and implement retargeting based on data.
  • Develop content for marketing beyond social media.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health/business field.
  • 2+ years of experience in progressive marketing and communications roles, preferably in start-up environments.
  • Experience with SEO, Google Analytics, and other social media platforms.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Strong initiative, resourcefulness, and project time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
