The Black Education Research Collective (BERC) at Teachers College, Columbia University, is seeking an experienced Social Media Specialist.

The primary responsibilities include content creation, audience engagement, developing and implementing a social media marketing plan, creating an editorial calendar, and monitoring marketing analytics.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA or BS in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Expertise in digital content creation, marketing strategy, and audience engagement analytics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work both independently and as part of a team.
• High proficiency with various social media platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Content creation skills using tools like Canva and Photoshop.
• Experience in academic or research settings.

Salary Range:

$25,000 – $35,000

Work Modality:
