This position provides social media marketing support to include industry and social media research, content scheduling, content creation, and overall platform strategy support.

The Social Media Specialist will align and help maintain the mission, business goals, and brand of Isagenix.  The primary goal is to engage unaware audiences to bring in new brand followers and business, as well as Isagenix communities, markets, and Associates across multiple channels in both North America and International pages.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Assist in development and implementation of social medial campaigns across all company social networks.
  • Ensure platforms are being maximized by staying up to date on technologies, trends, design layouts and major updates to all social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+, etc.).
  • Measure engagement on social media platforms and draw insights from reports to determine how to best serve our audiences.
  • Help set specific social media KPIs and objectives.
  • Assist with evaluating business goals and create new opportunities to utilize paid advertising.
  • Input and manage social media content in project management tool.
  • Schedule and support social medial campaigns across all company social networks.
  • Assist with creation of social communications calendars by providing timelines and content ideas.
  • Help produce and publish monthly Social Media Content Calendar.
  • Ideation and creation of social content that aligns with brand, business goals, sales initiatives, and marketing strategy.
  • Regularly write copy for social media posts across all networks.
  • Help maintain an effective, simplified, and consistent Isagenix voice across all content for all social media channels.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Communications, Field Development, R&D, International, IT, and Customer Service to ensure content accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Work cross functionally with other teams to route content through appropriate channels and obtain approvals.
  • Liaise with Corporate Communications teams to deliver crisis communications or sensitive messaging to customers and associates across appropriate social media channels.
  • Attend and produce social media coverage at all Isagenix events (i.e. Live Tweet/Facebook Live production and social screen moderation).
  • Facilitate conversations online and interact to answer any questions and provide support when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications (These are the requirements that all applicants MUST HAVE to be considered for this position)

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of experience in social media marketing and/or professional content writing for social media
  • Expertise with social media content creation and publishing within all major Social Media platforms
  • Comfortable working both in Mac and Windows Operating Systems
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft office software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented and able to coordinate/manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Familiar with project management tools
  • Experience with design platforms like Canva
  • Flexibility to work up to 1-2 weekend hours per month. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience in social media marketing and/or professional content writing for social media
  • Experience in Network Marketing
  • Experience working in the Social Media management tool: Social Studio
  • Experience working in project management tool: Asana
  • Skilled in Social Media paid advertising
  • Social video editing experience
