Committed to making a positive impact in our neighborhoods, the Hospitality division manages vibrant commercial spaces, including Crossroads Collective Food Hall, Pharmacy Bar, Shanghai Speakeasy, and Canopy Bar.

Opportunity: New Land Hospitality Group is currently hiring a part-time Social Media Specialist responsible for developing engaging content across selected social media channels. The role involves working with the Hospitality and Marketing Teams to enhance brand equity, drive web traffic, and improve overall revenue for various businesses.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Coordination:

  • Develop editorial calendars for each business.
  • Craft compelling brand stories on social media channels.
  • Generate, edit, and publish engaging content at least 3 times per week for each business.
  • Create social graphics as needed.
  • Curate relevant content, promotions, images, and videos in collaboration with the Hospitality Team.
  • Moderate user-generated content for each business.
  • Drive web traffic through social referrals.
  • Build social media followers and engagement through strategic community engagement, targeted paid social ads, influencer partnerships, and community promotions.
  • Create and send a bimonthly newsletter to the growing email list.

Reputation Management:

  • Respond to online reviews on various platforms.
  • Solicit positive reviews from community members, customers, visitors, etc., based on each brand platform.
  • Coordinate with other departments for continuous improvement based on customer feedback.

Data Analysis:

  • Capture and analyze data, using insights to guide social media strategy.
  • Measure the effectiveness of social media ads and use insights to improve placements, strategy, and creative elements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in social media marketing.
  • Experience managing multiple social media accounts.
  • Experience with food and beverage photography.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in graphic design and photo/video editing.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and tools.
  • Understanding of digital marketing and marketing channels.
  • Detail-oriented with superior time-management and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize initiatives based on established goals.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to adapt and learn.
  • Willingness to adapt workflow and schedule.
  • Ability to work 10-15 hours per week, including some nights and weekends for content creation and administrative tasks.
