Our client is looking to hire 1-2 Social Media Specialists, focusing on both English and Spanish-speaking networks. Ideal candidates should be creative and driven individuals with a passion for creating compelling content and building a wide audience through social media.

The role involves becoming an advocate in social media spaces, developing and publishing engaging content, implementing marketing and outreach strategies, and fostering online engagement across various channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions.
  • Raise awareness of the company’s mission through the development, organization, and publication of engaging content.
  • Map out and implement a comprehensive marketing and outreach strategy.
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with leadership to enhance online presence.
  • Foster online engagement across social media channels, websites, and forums.
  • Contribute to printed materials and publications, including workbooks, presentations, blog posts, press releases, and marketing assets.
  • Oversee and reinforce consistency in branding, design, and messaging.
  • Develop brand awareness and online reputation.
  • Manage content and increase participation in targeted markets.

Time Demands: This is a demanding position requiring dedication and the ability to work 50+ hours a week, including evenings and weekends. Some national travel is expected.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Educational background in Social Media marketing, communications, business, new media, or public relations is preferred.

Experience & Skills:

  • Significant experience in sourcing and managing content development, publishing, traditional marketing, digital marketing, and photo/video editing and production.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and video formats.
  • Experience with photo and video production, editing, and cataloging.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and their deployment in different scenarios.
  • Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media.
