Position: Social Media Coordinator Type: Full-time Location: Atlanta, GA Salary Range: $53,687.00 – $65,000.00 Grade: A8

Responsibilities: As a Social Media Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in building brand identification and the reputation of Georgia Tech. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Content Creation: Write original posts and create engaging content, including videos and graphics, to optimize engagement objectives.
  2. Team Oversight: Oversee the work of student assistants, edit their writing, video, and other content, and post to appropriate media platforms.
  3. Community Engagement: Monitor social conversations and comments on all platforms, responding as appropriate to stimulate and facilitate discussions.
  4. Performance Evaluation: Evaluate the impact and engagement of target audiences, contributing to the creation of future content.
  5. Analytics: Track and analyze social media influence measurements and audience examination.
  6. Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Two to three years of job-related experience.
  • Skills: Proficiency in handling customer relations issues, knowledge of social media platforms, management tools, and analytics. Experience in video editing and production, graphic design, and strong writing skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior customer service experience.

Location: The position is based onsite in Atlanta, GA.
