STV is seeking a Social Media Specialist who has experience developing and administering social media content on various platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram).

This individual will help implement our social media strategy, develop content, grow our brand and strengthen our online identity, while tailoring the dissemination of content to the various audiences we are trying to reach.

The successful candidate will also be required to collect and review social media data to help create more engaging campaigns, elevate our brand and grow our online audience.

In collaboration with other members of the Communications team, this individual will help support the development of future social media strategies and training sessions.

This position is designated as hybrid (in office 3 days/week) in our New York, NY office.

Responsibilities

  • Run the day-to-day implementation of social media, including developing compelling content and community management across all platforms, specifically LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Manage social media content calendar and analyze performance on a monthly basis
  • Periodically conduct social media audits, including content performance reviews, competitor analysis, and industry analysis
  • Analyze and optimize performance of owned social channels to cultivate and grow online audiences, and to ensure content is performing as desired
  • Help develop unique social media campaigns and update department strategy on a semi-regular basis
  • Align social media content with business goals and STV’s Strategic Plan
  • Manage production process for social media content in coordination with Communications team
  • Support training for select staff, as necessary, on social media best practices and strategy alignment
  • Prepare creative, strategic, high-quality presentations, reports, and training materials in collaboration with Communications team
  • Research and identify emerging social media trends and new features

Requirements

  • Strong social media copywriting skills, as well as interest in social media strategy
  • Comfortability with various social media platforms

Level of Experience; Education

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications or Liberal Arts, or an industry-related field
  • Digital Marketing agency experience preferred

Compensation Range

$70,852.00 – $92,591.00
