PHP Agency is seeking a full-time Social Media Specialist to create engaging and creative digital content for various social media platforms.
The role involves developing and implementing a social media strategy to enhance online presence, improve marketing efforts, and increase sales.
The Social Media Specialist will report to the Marketing Communications Manager and collaborate closely with in-house graphic designers and videographers to generate content that promotes customer engagement and brand awareness.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the social media strategy, including competitive research, platform selection, messaging, and audience targeting.
- Create and share daily content (text, images, videos, and code) to build customer connections, boost brand awareness, and encourage community engagement.
- Collaborate on social media campaigns.
- Stay updated on the latest social media best practices and technologies.
- Optimize company pages on social platforms to increase content visibility.
- Monitor SEO and customer engagement, making content optimization recommendations.
- Moderate user-generated content according to the moderation policy.
- Establish editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
- Capture and analyze social data/metrics and use insights to measure campaign success and refine future strategies.
- Collaborate with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
- Expand your professional network by engaging with industry professionals and influencers on social media.
Requirements and Skills:
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrable experience with social networking and knowledge of social analytics tools.
- Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, web traffic, CRO, and SEO.
- Understanding of online marketing and major marketing channels.
- Positive attitude, detail-oriented, customer-focused, with strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 3 or more years of social media experience, including content planning and management in a corporate or agency setting.
- Experience with various analytics software.
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, and other social media best practices.
- Good understanding of social media KPIs.
