The Feed is the largest online marketplace, offering over 250 brands specializing in sports nutrition, recovery gear, and high-performance products.

We simplify sports nutrition by following a straightforward formula: what to eat before, during, and after each workout. At The Feed, we sell almost everything in single servings, providing consumers with a wide range of flavors and products to choose from. Additionally, we offer free assistance from feed coaches who help customers with training, race strategies, and nutritional needs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

In collaboration with the marketing team, you will develop and create high-quality, visually appealing, and engaging content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to:

  • Instagram, Facebook, Strava, YouTube, Threads, TikTok, Pinterest

Content will encompass text, images, videos, infographics, and other multimedia formats while adhering to The Feed’s brand guidelines.

Social Media Execution:

You will closely collaborate with the Content Marketing Manager to flawlessly execute social media campaigns aligned with marketing initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices:

  • Following and posting according to the content calendar
  • Understanding The Feed’s audience, demographics, interests, and behaviors to provide insights for creative development of social assets
  • Monitoring and responding to comments, messages, mentions, and stories across all platforms, fostering positive interactions with our audience. You will work closely with the Customer Service team to respond to customer inquiries.
  • Using social media analytics tools to track and analyze the performance of social media campaigns and content.
  • Providing monthly reports and insights to the marketing team, monitoring and identifying competitor trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assisting the Director of Partnerships and internal design team in developing and creating assets for partners.

Audience Growth:

You will recommend and implement strategies to increase the number of followers, fans, and subscribers on The Feed’s social media platforms:

  • Preparing graphics for use in ads
  • Boosting posts as needed based on performance
  • Collaborating with marketing agencies to support the execution of our paid ad strategy.
  • Supporting the execution of The Feed’s sponsorship program.
  • Partnering with appropriate influencers to help grow The Feed’s audience.

Technical Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends.
  • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing, with expertise in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work in Asana and manage tasks effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to multitask between projects and meet aggressive deadlines.

Compensation:

  • Salary range between $75,000 – $89,000 per year, based on experience.
