As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts.

You will be working with the Marketing and Product Management departments.

  • Identifies appropriate social media platforms and other web-based tools to use in the promotion of each product or service.
  • Measures and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Create a social media strategy to drive users back to company website and to product sales
  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification
  • Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Identifies critical conversion points and drop off points and optimizes user funnels.
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  • Build and maintain solid content calendar
  • Create meaningful and effective content to be used across multiple social media platforms
  • Engage with communities and audiences on social media

Education And/or Work Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be substituted for education
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing social media advertising campaigns
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMRush, etc.)
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
