As the Social Media Marketing Manager for Snyk, you’ll own the social media efforts at Snyk — from developing and evolving the social media strategy to creating social media content that caters to various audiences across our official channels.

You’ll also drive our employee advocacy efforts to help amplify our messages. This role will collaborate with various teams within the company to bring engaging content to life!

You’ll Spend Your Time:

  • Leading the Snyk social media strategy
  • Managing Snyk’s social media calendar
  • Copywriting and editing social media posts for Twitter and LinkedIn, while managing YouTube
  • Owning all social media efforts across campaigns from various teams (PR, Content, Communications, Design, DevRel and Community, Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, Customer Marketing, Employer Brand, etc.)
  • Managing our employee advocacy program to help amplify key messages
  • Providing social media guidance and support to employees, including our Leadership Team
  • Analyzing and reporting on social media performance for various campaigns

What You’ll Need:

  • First-hand experience owning a social media calendar and scheduling/publishing social media content using third party social media tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social or Sprinklr
  • Experience managing social media campaigns end-to-end, from ideation to design, coordination, data analysis, and everything in between
  • Experience marketing to developers and working with Developer Relations teams
  • Ideally you’ll have previously supported an organization’s employee advocacy program
  • A passion for promoting company culture
  • A dedication to keeping a pulse on social media trends and updates
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
  • Experience building new programs and processes

  • Have previously marketed to security and developer personas
