Job Description: As a Social Media Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the goals and strategies of the Marketing department. Your creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills will contribute to sharing the story of Fairmont Kea Lani and its exceptional offerings.

Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media Management (45%):
    • Assist in planning and executing strategic social media campaigns.
    • Engage followers/fans on all resort social media channels, including F&B venues, Hawaiian cultural center, and spa.
    • Coordinate social influencer and content creator collaborations.
    • Manage content creation, engagement, and channel management.
  2. Content Marketing (35%):
    • Create and maintain content for various online platforms, including the resort’s website and specific venue sites.
    • Monitor online review sites and draft responses as necessary.
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly PR/Marketing reports.
    • Assist with hotel communications and print projects.
  3. Media/Public Relations Support (20%):
    • Identify and vet potential media guests, including social media influencers, content creators, and journalists.
    • Set reservations, create itineraries, submit amenity requests, and post site alerts for incoming media guests.
    • Assist with hotel photo and video shoots, coordinating with relevant departments.
    • Organize and maintain the image library for internal and external sites.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Social Media management, Public Relations/Marketing support (preferred).
  • Photography/content creation experience (preferred).
  • Administrative assistant experience in the hospitality industry (preferred).
  • Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Service-oriented with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels.
