The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team!

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role is crucial for expanding our digital footprint and overseeing our social communications efforts. The ideal candidate will develop and implement content strategies tailored to various social media platforms, increasing brand awareness and customer engagement.

While our office is located in San Francisco, this position can be remote in CA, OR, CO or WA.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Act as the chief content creator for all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • Film and produce engaging TikTok videos and other social media content that aligns with brand voice and objectives.
  • Create, curate, and manage published content (images, videos, written) to maintain a consistent brand presence.
  • Monitor and respond to social media interactions, fostering community engagement and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media campaigns that support marketing goals and initiatives.
  • Analyze social media metrics and provide insights and recommendations to improve performance and achieve KPIs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and new technologies to ensure the company maintains a competitive edge.
  • Develop and maintain a social media content calendar to ensure timely and consistent content delivery.
  • Coordinate with influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify brand reach and engagement.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in managing social media platforms for a brand or organization.
  • Strong understanding of social media metrics, analytics tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven experience in filming and producing TikTok videos and other social media content.
  • Ability to develop creative, engaging content that aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in influencer marketing and working with brand ambassadors is a plus.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging social media platforms.
  • Experience in graphic design and video editing is a plus.
