We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Social Media Manager to lead our social media strategy. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media platforms, particularly in engaging with Gen Z and Millennial audiences. The successful candidate will be a trendsetter, capable of translating cultural trends into compelling content strategies that resonate with our target demographic.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance brand visibility and engagement among our target audience
• Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across various platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok
• Stay abreast of cultural trends, industry developments, and emerging platforms to ensure our brand remains relevant and competitive
• Foster and grow online communities by interacting with followers, responding to comments and messages, and fostering a positive brand image
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product, to align social media efforts with overall brand objectives
• Analyze social media metrics to assess the success of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly
• Stay informed about the latest algorithms and changes on social media platforms to optimize content performance

Ideal Background:

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in the consumer-focused or lifestyle sectors
• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
• Ability to create engaging and shareable content tailored to Gen Z and Millennial audiences
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative thinker with an eye for design and aesthetics
• Highly aware of and engaged with culture with a clear perspective/understanding of ‘cultural cool’
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing trends
