We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Manager to lead our social media strategy and execution.

The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker, strategic planner, and adept at using various social media platforms to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and community growth.

In this role, you will have high agency, high visibility, and report to our Chief Marketing Officer. You’ll collaborate closely with a diverse and talented team of marketers, event managers, agencies and stakeholders as you develop our social media strategy.

Together, we’ll innovate, iterate, and create exceptional products that inspire creators, captivate consumers, and empower brands.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall marketing objectives.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and measurable goals.
  • Create engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop multimedia content.
  • Foster and engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
  • Monitor brand mentions and sentiment across social media channels.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns, promotions, and contests.
  • Manage and optimize social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Analyze social media performance using analytics tools and generate social media reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns. Monitor and optimize ad performance for maximum ROI.
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers to amplify brand reach and engagement.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven 4+ years experience in social media marketing or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in social media marketing tools and analytics platforms, as well as managing external agencies and creative vendors.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with a variety of stakeholders, including agencies, influencers, creators, and brand partners.
  • Experience in brand marketing, digital marketing, influencer marketing, and content creation with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
  • Experience in measuring and analyzing campaign performance metrics.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to develop compelling content.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong ability to design engaging and impactful presentation materials, incorporating visuals, and effectively communicating with C-level executives, including briefing on progress and outcomes.
  • High affinity for social media (TikTok, Facebook live, Instagram live, Twitch etc.) and the latest market trends and consumer behavior.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English. German is a plus.
