Explore Seattle Southside, a dynamic organization in the heart of SeaTac, is seeking a skilled and innovative Social Media Manager to join our Marketing & Communications Team.

We are looking for a professional who can seamlessly blend creative flair with analytical prowess, developing and executing cutting-edge social media strategies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Content Strategy and Execution:
    • Plan and optimize content for social media accounts.
    • Increase followers, engagement, impressions, and key metrics across various platforms.
  2. Platform Management:
    • Manage day-to-day posts on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X.
    • Monitor emerging trends and platforms to stay ahead in the social media landscape.
  3. Analytics and Reporting:
    • Develop and send regular reports on content performance.
    • Derive business insights from social media metrics.
  4. Campaign Coordination:
    • Advise on paid social campaigns aligning with marketing initiatives.
    • Collaborate on the yearly editorial calendar and support branded content initiatives.
  5. Content Creation:
    • Execute content creation through photography/video and editing.
    • Collaborate with business partners, content teams, and independently gather content weekly.
  6. Skill Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience managing social media profiles and campaigns.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or other editing software.
    • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, analytics, and management tools.
    • Experience in deriving business insights from social media metrics.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Seattle Southside community and tourism assets.
  • Experience in hospitality, service, or travel industries.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
