Are you ready to make waves in the dynamic world of social media? We are seeking a Social Media Manager with a strategic and analytical mindset, coupled with creativity and sociability.

As a key player in our newly-formed Americas Brand & Marketing team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and growing our brand presence in the digital landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage social media platforms for the Fiskars brand, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • Editorialize the brand daily through the lens of popular culture and brand purpose to identify opportunities for engagement and reactive conversations.
  • Build and proactively manage a positive social media community, flagging opportunities for engagement, and addressing issues to relevant teams.
  • Respond to consumer queries and posts through social media channels on a daily basis, collaborating with customer service and product teams as needed.
  • Own social content development from planning to scheduling, including proactive briefing and forecasting needs to the Creative team.
  • Manage paid social campaigns to meet strategic business goals, including driving hero categories and successful new product launches.
  • Manage brand ambassador and retailer-specific influencers, including finding, contracting, briefing, and approving content.
  • Develop a content calendar supporting short- and long-term marketing initiatives, determining suitable methods and channels for target audiences.
  • Establish a robust KPI setting, tracking & measurement process for all activities, conducting ongoing tests to gauge content effectiveness and optimizing in real time.
  • Manage a marketing budget with a keen ability to scrutinize spending and drive ROI-based use of funds.
  • Act as a self-starter with a can-do approach, taking responsibility to identify needs and opportunities and actively contributing to achieving resolutions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years in social media management and content development, preferably in an FMCG/CPG environment.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, knowledge of best practices for social media platforms, and the ability to interpret and bring an opinion to brand strategy.
  • Experience working with brands as a social-first channel expert, including community management and content strategy/proposals.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English.
