We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in creating compelling and engaging visual content that resonates with our audience.

The ideal candidate will focus on informing and entertaining rather than just influencing, using storytelling to drive growth and connect with our community.

Responsibilities:

  • Create consistent and meaningful content across all social media platforms, including graphics, videos, and captions with relevant hashtags.
  • Enhance customer engagement, provide product education, and generate brand excitement.
  • Execute cross-platform campaigns, schedule posts, respond to comments, and address content from reviews.
  • Develop a detailed monthly content calendar and posting guidelines.
  • Engage with the community on a daily basis by responding to DMs, comments, and interacting with followers.
  • Hands-on creative content creation, including graphic posts, image enhancements, video content for stories, reels, and posts, as well as writing post captions and managing other content creators.
  • Manage influencer partnerships and collaborate with outsourced vendors.
  • Craft content that aligns with customer trends and market changes to keep the audience interested and engaged.
  • Plan, host, and promote live stream events to actively engage the audience.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing partners for content creation for paid social media ads.
  • Monitor online conversations on the company’s social media accounts and address customer concerns.
  • Set KPIs for social media campaigns, establish targets to grow followers and engagement, and provide detailed monthly ROI reports.
  • Utilize analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Later, and Meta Insights to evaluate social media presence and performance.
  • Consistently improve and enhance the company’s social media presence.
  • Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in social media.
  • Assist with other marketing duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of social media marketing experience in an agency or internal creative department.
  • Prior experience supporting healthcare, wellness, or pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with social media strategy, content creation, community monitoring, influencer relations, analytics, and reporting.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple internal and external teams.
  • Deep working knowledge of social listening platforms.
  • Ability to assimilate detailed data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent organizational, writing, and language skills.
  • Proven track record of growing social media audiences/followers.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and still photography is a plus.
  • Experience ideating and managing still and video assets is preferred.
  • Understanding of storytelling and what makes engaging content on social.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite.
  • Proactive about owning the success of our social media channels.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English (speak, read, and write).
