The Global Social Media Manager / Associate Manager reports to the Senior Global Brand Manager and plays a key role in leading the social media and content strategy development for Masimo Consumer’s consumer health category.

This position requires a passion for social media and the ability to apply that knowledge to create, curate, engage, and grow the Masimo Consumer Health brand through social engagement. The Global Social Media Manager / Associate Manager should have their finger on the pulse of pop culture and trends, understanding what resonates with people and algorithms.

They will be responsible for ensuring the brand’s strategic direction is at the forefront of all initiatives and unified across all communication platforms.

This role involves cross-functional collaboration with global markets, Masimo Consumer’s shared services groups, and external agency partners to ensure the successful execution of all social media marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an integrated social content strategy across platforms with detailed KPI goals, focusing on sustained follower growth and high engagement.
  • Lead strategy and content development across platforms, utilizing various content sources (including content creation, production teams, third-party creators, UGC, and influencers) to maintain a consistent and distinctive online presence.
  • Oversee influencer programs for product launches and brand awareness efforts, collaborating with PR and regional marketing teams.
  • Stay informed about the ever-changing social media landscape and communicate important changes, shifts, and opportunities to internal teams.
  • Act as a natural content creator, with a passion for storytelling and concept creation that aligns brand messages with cultural relevance to engage consumers on social platforms.
  • Draft monthly content calendar briefs for agency delivery and review and provide feedback on monthly content calendars.
  • Utilize third-party software for content planning and managing conversations with followers and consumers.
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly social media reporting and use data insights to inform strategies and content.
  • Implement content sharing processes with international counterparts and collaborate on key initiatives.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of social media management experience.
  • Experience in influencer and partner management.

Additional / Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in consumer tech or med tech, especially in fitness, wellness, health, conditions, and telehealth.
  • Experience launching at least one brand that disrupted or created a category.
  • Experience with premium products.
  • Global experience.

Experience & Skills:

  • In-depth social media experience, including the use of third-party social management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in managing agency, influencer, and brand relationships.
  • Highly organized, independent, detail-oriented, and strong follow-up skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships with internal departments and external partners.
  • Comfortable working in a less structured environment and self-accountable with processes.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Start-up mentality with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with different micro-cultures within the organization.
  • Passion for purpose-led brands, especially in health, wellness, and fitness, with a strong focus on the consumer experience.

Compensation:

The anticipated range for this position is $100,000 – $120,000. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including skills, education, and experience.
