The Social Media Manager is responsible for working as part of a team to market Chauvet’s brands through various social media platforms.

This role will serve as the social media expert at Chauvet and use online marketing tactics and analytics to help grow the business and expand the awareness and customer affinity for our brands.

  • Use social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s key brands using IG, FB and LI primarily. Evaluate and recommend additional platforms based on marketing strategy.
  • Interact with customers and stakeholders on the company’s social media accounts
  • Participate in the various brands’ digital plan and social media strategy and drive identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
  • Identify social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities
  • Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, including targets for # of shares, likes, comments and performance against KPIs
  • Regularly post text, video and images that engage our targets; strong understanding of using hashtags/tagging, Canva, Capcut and other tools
  • Understanding of paid tactics a must
  • Report on campaigns with a consistent desire for optimization

Experience & Education:

  • Superior verbal and written communications skills are extremely important
  • Experience managing and recommending social media programs both regionally and globally are a must; understanding key markets such as UK, France, Germany and Benelux a plus
  • Creativity is important for this role. Craft engaging content with the help of the creative services department aligned to customer trends and market interest is important
  • Computer skills, skills for using social media platforms and skills in using tools to analyze social media platforms are required
  • Organization skills are critical in tight, high volume and deadline-oriented environment
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and advocate for change when data supports it, in spite of potential for resistance
  • Persistence and a strong focus on deliverables, balanced with excellent teamwork, listening skills and diplomacy
  • Self-assured; a leadership style that encourages results-driven, task-oriented collaboration
  • Attention to detail while maintaining strategic focus, strong organizational skills – ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to be resourceful, hands-on, detail oriented and work independently while being a strong collaborator with peers
  • Optimization mindset is a must
