 We’re on the hunt for a dynamic Social Media Manager and Content Creator who thrives on creativity, autonomy, and data-driven strategy.

Your core responsibility will be to amplify our brand story, engage with and grow our audience across various social media channels. While this is initially a contract role, there’s substantial opportunity for growth—not just in social media, but also in expanding your scope within our marketing team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Familiarize yourself with Stronghold’s unique brand tone, design principles, and voice —and work closely with us to incorporate these into our online brand persona
  • Level up our social media channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram etc) through:
  • Strategy and development of the content calendar
  • Content creation
  • Organization of assets
  • Planning and execution of posting
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Work with our in-house video team on maximizing our YouTube channel
  • Foster a loyal community around our brand by audience engagement, acknowledging comments, sharing user-generated content, and creating brand advocates
  • Help us develop lead generation campaigns and strategies from these channels
  • Help manage our online advertising / PPC campaigns
  • Manage social media channels and create daily content for Stronghold’s accounts (including, but not limited to) Youtube, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Analyze social media and video performance and make data-driven recommendations
  • Stay up-to-date on social media best practices across all channels and implement them into our strategy
  • Conduct regular research and analysis of industry trends and competitors to guide our marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Foster vibrant online communities through sustained audience interaction and the rollout of targeted engagement strategies
  • Use Canva design templates to create image assets for social media
  • Assist with coordinating marketing events with external contacts (i.e. video shoots, virtual events, etc)
  • Write creative briefs and manage creative development in conjunction with the marketing team
  • Research partner-based and cross-promotional content marketing opportunities
  • Analyze key social media metrics and distill insights into comprehensive reports, and effectively present to management on a regular basis
  • Own and develop the brand tone of voice for Stronghold and work with the wider team to ensure it’s used effectively across all marketing, sales, and partnerships channels

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1+ years experience in social media management
  • Strong experience in content marketing, writing for US audiences
  • Passionate about social media and up-to-date with best practices
  • High level of organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of web metrics and optimization strategies
  • Ability to explain complex social media data in an understandable way
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Storytelling skills; familiarity with technology and innovation
  • Commitment to working collaboratively with others
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn platforms
  • Data driven and analytical mindset
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new software and tools
  • An experienced independent contractor in content and social – possibly open to coming in-house full-time if you find Stronghold a fit for you
  • A highly creative, energetic and passionate human being
  • A hungry individual who loves to learn
  • A strong writer who has created content for US audiences, preferably on finance/fintech related topics
  • Experienced in managing social media strategy and schedules for a brand
  • A data-driven decision maker who can analyze a marketing funnel, and identify different growth opportunities and the various ways to meet them
  • Able to quickly adapt to market trends and shifts in company strategy, ensuring that social media content remains current and relevant

The base salary for this position is $25 – $50 per hour while taking into consideration factors such as relevant experience, skillset and qualifications for the role, and location. Stronghold currently offers health benefits for eligible employees.
