The Social Media Manager is a key leader and contributor within the Spire Marketing and Communications team.

As the driving force behind our social media presence, you will spearhead the strategy and day-to-day management of all social media channels for our esteemed network of orthopedic practices across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.

Your efforts will be instrumental in driving growth and maximizing media value through captivating and impactful social media campaigns. We are seeking an exceptional candidate who combines strategic acumen with hands-on expertise in content development and community building across the various social media platforms.

Collaborating closely with practice teams, leadership, clinicians, and community partners, you will craft and execute tailored social media strategies that support each practice’s priorities and overall business objectives as well as impeccably reflect the aesthetic, vision, and voice of each practice brand.

Your superior verbal and written communication skills, along with your exceptional project management prowess, will ensure the successful implementation of these strategies.

In addition to your pivotal role in social media management, you will support our practice and physician reputation management efforts by collaborating with the Director of Digital Strategy, reputation management vendors, and orthopedic practice administrators and physicians.

You will contribute to cultivating and safeguarding the online reputation of each physician and practice brand, and your expertise will extend to assisting with website updates, further enhancing our online presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day social media management on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube for each Spire network orthopedic practice brand
  • Develop and execute monthly social content calendars for all orthopedic practice brands; Collaborate closely with marketing, practice teams, leadership, clinicians, and community partners to develop content that supports the practice’s priorities and overall business objectives as well as impeccably reflects the aesthetic, vision, and voice of each practice brand
  • Content development includes crafting patient stories/testimonials, informative condition and procedure specific articles, physician and team member spotlights, orthopedic specialty and service social copy, event posts and more; Manage content creation, video / photoshoots and sourcing to ensure all content exemplifies brand standards
  • Build/enhance brand stature by partnering with and engaging the local community of each practice, our online community, community partners, local teams, and schools to share content across the different practice accounts as well as communicate effectively across all platforms; Monitor and respond to all comments and messages for each social account in a timely manner
  • Schedule the distribution of content across multiple accounts and channels utilizing scheduling tools like Hootsuite as well as the individual social media platforms
  • Drive social media performance and report on key metrics on a regular basis to ensure audience growth, strong engagement rates; Optimize and adjust post content, timing, frequency, and more based on performance insights
  • Stay up to date on platform best practices and industry trends across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube; Incorporate innovative strategies to maintain a competitive edge
  • Manage reputation management platform and applicable review site practice and physician listings (Google My Business) to ensure information accuracy in an effort to further scale positive reviews; Support the service recovery process
  • Assist in website updates, ensuring content accuracy, relevance, and optimal user experience; Curate and add engaging content to the website to support social media initiatives and enhance user engagement across platforms

Who you are:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred
  • 5 years of social media experience, experience with healthcare marketing preferred
  • Proven experience in social media management, with a focus on strategic development and execution
  • Superior verbal, written, copy editing and proofreading skills; Ability to create compelling content and tailor messaging for various platforms and target audiences
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized with ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver high quality results efficiently
  • Strong communication skills and can work in a collaborative environment
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices
  • Experience with social media copywriting and asset coordination for multiple accounts
  • Experience with online community management and can engage through the brands voice
  • Experience with native social media scheduling and reporting tools, experience with Hootsuite preferred
  • Experience with graphic design tools, experience with Canva preferred
  • Quick learner with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
