As a Social Media Manager on our growing Social & Community team, you will responsible for developing social campaigns and content for KSP2.

This role works closely with the Community and Marketing teams, as well as cross-discipline studio partners. A successful teammate in this role is highly organized, creative, and collaborative.

What You’ll Take On

  • Lead social media strategy, creative planning, project management, and day-to-day execution for KSP2 social media channels, including Twitter, Twitch, Discord, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Create the content calendar / roadmap with the Community team to identify key beats, what is needed for each beat, and then execute on the calendar.
  • Maintain dashboards and build ongoing reports for social media analytics, including data points like follower count, impressions, reach, engagement, and sentiment. Leverage insights from this data to adjust social strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Artist to produce social assets, which will occasionally require using Adobe Creative Cloud to create short videos, GIFs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with content creators to strategically engage with our audiences across Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and more.
  • Contribute to content management of the Private Division website.
  • Represent the Kerbal Space Program brand and spirit as an on-site representative at trade and consumer shows.
  • Occasional travel, both domestic and international, may be required.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of professional social media management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing strategic social media campaigns.
  • Demonstrated experience growing communities on major social media platforms such as Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects at once, while meeting tight, and overlapping, schedules.
  • Familiarity using analytics to improve social media strategy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as project management tools.
  • A deep understanding of pop culture in video games, tech, and/or entertainment.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or related degree, or equivalent working experience.
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress, website content management solutions, and Adobe Creative Cloud beneficial, but not required.

The pay range for this position in Washington at the start of employment is expected to be between $60,000 and $90,000 per Year.
