We are looking for a Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager to join our fast-growing and integrated team. In this role, you will work closely with our Creative Director, creative team, and PR team to develop and implement digital marketing and social media strategies for our clients as well as our internal needs. Reporting to the firm’s President and CEO, you will also manage our social media strategist, support their career development, and contribute to growing our digital studio.

Experience:

  • Digital marketing or social media agency experience.
  • Ability to develop content strategies for social media, incorporate paid advertising, analyze progress using analytics, and present findings to clients.
  • Understanding of other paid media efforts, SEO, conversion optimization, website analytics, and project management.
  • Bonus points for team management experience and a desire to lead and shape the department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Social Media.
  • 8+ years of experience developing, managing, and implementing digital marketing and social media strategies in an agency.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Experience in proposal creation and client presentations.
  • Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving mindset.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Knowledge of Sprout Social and previous experience with Google Analytics.

Responsibilities:

Internal:

  • Manage and support the career development of current and future Digital Marketing & Social Media team members.
  • Participate in hiring new department staff.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to optimize the firm’s website and online marketing performance.
  • Assist in agency sales efforts by participating in calls, pitches, and leading proposal creation for digital and social needs.
  • Stay updated on the competitive landscape, market opportunities, and digital trends to inform the organization.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies and vendors to enhance our digital offerings.
  • Lead the internal team in creating social media strategy, organic social engagement, and social media advertising campaigns.
  • Set up reliable and real-time reporting for the internal marketing team and executive team.
  • Work with content creators on blog strategies, focusing on high-quality, SEO-friendly content.
  • Manage SEO/SEM for the firm’s website and develop organic growth strategies.

General:

  • Conduct or participate in discovery calls for new clients utilizing our digital or social offerings.
  • Develop comprehensive content strategies for digital marketing and social media to meet client goals.
  • Utilize key metric data to provide guidance and recommendations for campaign strategies.

Paid Media:

  • Manage the strategy, setup, budget, optimization, and reporting of all paid media campaigns.
  • Meet with clients and account leads to understand specific needs and create strategies to meet their goals.
  • Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, assessing against goals and key performance indicators.
  • Identify trends and insights to inform creative growth strategies.

Analytics:

  • Demonstrate expertise in data reporting and metric tracking.
  • Establish reliable tracking and reporting for measuring digital campaigns and key performance indicators.
  • Optimize campaigns based on insights from reported analytics and data.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve campaign performance.
  • Operate within and pull reports from Google Analytics, Meta Business Manager, Sprout Social, and other resources as needed.
