The Social Media Manager leads the expertise and vision for how to bring the Specialty Restaurant Group (SRG) brands to life on social media.

They will guide social media strategy for proactive content, community engagement, social listening, paid social media, internal and external advocacy/influencers, team member recognition, etc., for brands including Yard House, The Capital Grille, Seasons 52, Eddie V’s, and Bahama Breeze. This role involves leading a direct team and providing strategic leadership to the social media community management and creative services teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and present annual social media strategy for the SRG brands.
  • Create ongoing paid and organic content in partnership with Brand Marketing Teams.
  • Generate programs/campaigns to cultivate and build the brands’ social media communities.
  • Provide social media insights and recommendations based on data.
  • Lead and develop social media team members.
  • Maintain an active relationship with the Community Engagement team.
  • Support HR/Talent Acquisition teams to leverage social media for hiring needs, training, team member recognition, and engagement.

Required Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • 8+ years of experience in social media strategy/management/marketing, PR, and/or brand marketing.
  • Ability to apply business objectives to social media initiatives and measure accordingly.
  • Superior written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of social media management and/or listening tools (Khoros, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Sprinkr, Talkwalker).

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.

  • Ability to build credibility and rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive and highly motivated, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Flexibility to work some nights and weekends.
  • Passion for food, hospitality, social media, PR, marketing, and emerging technologies.
  • Experience leading a team.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • 1-2 years of restaurant experience or extensive knowledge of full-service restaurant operations.
  • Agency experience is a plus.
