Position Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Social Media/Digital Cheer Intern to join our dynamic team during peak times: May 2024 through the end of the football season. This role offers hands-on work experience, developmental learning opportunities, and a chance to be an integral part of the Colts family.

General Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging content for Colts Cheer Social Pages on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Create graphics and edit videos for Reels to drive engagement and increase followers.
  • TikTok: Craft entertaining videos aligned with the Colts Cheer brand, engaging with users and staying updated on trends.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the cheer squad to brainstorm and implement creative ways to showcase cheerleaders on social platforms.
  • Event Assistance: Assist with booking Cheer appearances, Youth Cheer programs, Colts home games, photoshoots (which may involve travel), Cheer events, and administrative tasks for the department.
  • Marketing Support: Collaborate with the Marketing Department on events and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a graduation date by May 2023.
  • Legally authorized to work full-time in the United States for the duration of the internship.
  • Reside within driving distance of the greater Indianapolis area for the internship period.
  • Strong social media and content creation experience (video editing, graphic design).
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multitask.
  • Highly motivated and passionate about working in sports.
  • Excellent communicator with strong customer service and computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Commitment to teamwork and individual responsibility.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift and move objects up to 40 pounds.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to drive a company vehicle.
  • Available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
