Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a Social Media/Digital Marketing Intern for our Tuscaloosa, AL location. Remote arrangement also acceptable.

Description:
The Social Media/Digital Marketing Intern will assist in creating and curating engaging content for the company’s social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage social media accounts, including scheduling posts and responding to comments and messages.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for digital marketing.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement digital marketing strategies.
- Analyze and report on the performance of social media and digital marketing campaigns.
- Assist in managing and updating the company website with relevant content.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for creative campaign ideas.
- Help maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent online presence.
- Support the creation of multimedia content such as videos, infographics, and animations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media and digital marketing.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with popular social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts and tools.
- Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools.
- Creativity and the ability to think outside the box for content ideas.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and trends.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm for manufacturing technology and the industrial sector is a bonus.
