We are seeking a motivated Social Media Intern to join our team. This position is ideal for college juniors, seniors, or recent graduates with a passion for social-focused communications, marketing, advertising, and project management.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms, the ability to analyze social performance data, and excellent writing skills. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to expand your skills in the dynamic field of online communication.
Responsibilities:
- Craft customized web and social metrics reports.
- Assist in the management and creation of paid and organic social campaigns.
- Navigate content management systems and emerging social platforms.
- Conduct social media research and ongoing monitoring.
- Provide background research on client-specific issues.
- Identify influencers in relevant niches.
- Draft content on behalf of clients.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplined team to achieve client goals.
Qualifications:
- College junior, senior, or recent college graduate.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Social media savvy with a passion for social-focused communications.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) from a professional perspective.
- Experience with social listening and analysis to inform social media strategy and content creation.
- Strong writing skills, including the ability to draft content for various social platforms.
- Familiarity with social media management software and media monitoring tools.
- Ability to be proactive and an independent thinker.
- Experience with paid social media tools such as Facebook Ad Manager, Twitter Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Ads Manager is a plus.
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting performance data.
