Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist

KTGY is seeking a passionate and experienced Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist. Our ideal candidate will be responsible designing and executing social media strategies, organic and paid, to reach our target audience and achieve marketing objectives; maintain and update the company website to optimize the client experience; and monitor and analyze digital outcomes providing recommendations to improve results.
The Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist will report to the Director, Creative Services and will work closely with the marketing team to ensure a consistent branded experience across our digital platforms. This hybrid position will be based either in our Irvine, CA or downtown Chicago, office; we will consider candidates in proximity to our other office locations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Social Media (50%)
- Develop and curate creative and compelling content for social media, including but not limited to posts, images, videos, infographics, which align with the brand voice and identity.
- Collaborate with the Demand Marketing and HR teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing campaign strategies (e.g., national and regional campaigns, speaking engagements, conferences, etc.) and HR initiatives.
- Conceptualize and execute social media campaigns that align with marketing objectives to boost brand awareness, increase engagement and conversion rates.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of social media accounts (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, IGX2, Dwell and Archinect) scheduling and publishing posts, responding to comments and messages, and engaging with the audiences in a timely manner.
- Update social media platforms on a regularly scheduled cadence (e.g., cover image, company overview, etc.) to ensure visuals and messaging are current.
- Plan and execute paid social media campaigns, including ad creation, targeting and budget management, to support lead generation and other marketing campaign objectives.
- Collaborate with the Director, Creative Services to ensure our brand messaging, visual identity, and client experience are consistent across all channels.
- Create and implement a social media editorial calendar.
- Monitor competition to understand appeal of their marketing content and approach, identify and recommend ways to improve KTGY strategy.
- Stay up to date on social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices, adapting strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive advantage.
Digital (30%)
- Work alongside the Director, Creative Services to improve the overall user experience and conversion rates.
- Manage company website updates/enhancements, including visual and storytelling for projects, press releases, news, speaking engagements and company culture.
- Manage the company Wikipedia page in collaboration with the Content Marketing Writer.
Analytics (20%)
- Monitor website and social media analytics to measure the success of campaigns and track key performance metrics.
- Prepare regular reports to provide insights and identify opportunities to optimize efforts to improve outcomes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Ability to effective handle multiple assignments concurrently, partner effectively and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management, problem-solving and organizational skills; detail-oriented
- Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders within the firm.
- The successful candidate will be personable, approachable with excellent communication skills; able to explain complex information clearly and simply.
- Ability to research and willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in content creation, including writing, image editing, and graphic design skills.
- Excellent grammar and proofing skills.
- Proficiency using the following software:
- MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint
- Adobe InDesign
- Illustrator
- WordPress (preferred)
- Google Analytics certification (preferred)
- ASANA (preferred)
Experience and Education
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in similar digital media or social media role
- A/E/C-specific Marketing and Communications experience (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications; or equivalent preferred
- Exceptional knowledge of various social media platforms and their best practices.

The wage range that the Company expects to pay is $30/hour – $38/hour.
