The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for capturing company activities on construction projects and at company events, and then posting to social media sites to increase internal and external brand awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • Capture construction activities at jobsites and company events, predominately in the St. Louis metropolitan area through still photos, videos, and drone images.
  • Edit photos and video files for utilization in proposals and for social media content. KCI shall have all rights to photos and videos produced in this role.
  • Post at least once per week on social media platforms.
  • Handle file management of photographs and videos.
  • Work with other departments to build social media content to increase brand awareness.
  • Monitor comments and interact with the social media community.

Must haves:

  • Alignment with GRIT values.
  • Equipment desired but not required, i.e., camera, lenses, tripods, monopods, drones, etc.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to problem-solve with limited information.
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in the utilization of social media platforms.
  • Experience in creating content for social media platforms.
  • Must be able to keep flexible hours/schedule.
  • Must be comfortable working on an active construction site around heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel.
  • Graphic design and video editing skills.
