Our Southeastern Guide Dogs Inc marketing team seeks a brilliantly creative social media coordinator to amplify our mission and create impact through digital media. We’re looking for a team player willing to have their work pushed to the next level while also playing a strong role in the collaboration process.

What You’ll Love Doing

Reporting to the digital marketing manager, the social media coordinator will:

  • Monitor social media trends and industry best practices to identify ways to improve and innovate processes.
  • Maintain a strong brand voice and consistency across social media platforms through high-quality content creation, including photos, videos, Instagram Stories, Reels, and TikToks.
  • Break down existing content into bite-sized pieces, testimonials, trends, and more.
  • Stay current with trends in social media tools, applications, channels, and strategy.
  • Maintain a highly organized approach to pre-plan and schedule content, fostering engagement and growth.
  • Work independently and responsibly while managing numerous projects simultaneously.

Must-Have Abilities And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience creating content in the social media space.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
  • Knowledge of social media tools (i.e., Metricool and SEMRush).
  • Strong understanding of Adobe Suite—including but not limited to Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and CapCut.
  • Knowledge and understanding of digital and content marketing principles and all aspects of social media and emerging content distribution channels.
  • Exceptional organizational skills for content planning and engagement growth.
  • A clear and friendly communication style with strong written and verbal listening skills.
  • Positive, proactive, and a think-outside-the-box outlook to be an organized team player.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment.
  • Creative mindset and a passion for staying updated with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.
