The Forsaken Archives needs a social media manager to help raise brand awareness and drive sales. This is a volunteer remote position.
We’d love to help a recent graduate get experience under their belt!
The ideal candidate will create and maintain a strong online presence for our company. They will implement online marketing strategies through social media accounts in an effort to increase brand awareness. Additionally, this individual will understand the target audience and create an appropriate strategy to reach this group.
Responsibilities
- Research target audience and discover current trends
- Create engaging text, video, and image content
- Monitor web traffic
- Design and Implement Social Media Strategies
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content on a set schedule (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
- Collaborate with Owner to ensure brand consistency
- -Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
Qualifications
- Self-Motivated
- Can Self-Advocate for needed resources.
- Has experience building a social media presence from the ground up.
Nice to Have
- Enjoys Escape Rooms
- Has or is Earning a degree in Marketing or a related field.
- Lives locally (San Diego) so you can experience the room for yourself!
Due to the Archives starting as a student project, this position will be unpaid to start, but we will be happy to discuss commission pay for any bookings, or to move to a paid position once sales increase.
