SOREL is seeking a creative and enthusiastic, in-house, Social Media Content Specialist to join our dynamic Social Media Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to create engaging content for our brand across TikTok, IG Stories and Reels platforms.

As the Social Media Content Specialist at SOREL, you will be responsible for producing quality, engaging content.

You have knowledge of constantly emerging trends paired with the ability to quickly create and edit videos that align to the SOREL Brand Marketing objectives.

Your day-to-day collaborators will be the Social Media Team to develop and execute video content strategies that align with our SOREL brand objectives and this role sites within the wider Brand Marketing team.

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for storytelling, creativity and creating brand focused content.

How you’ll make a Difference

  • Content Creation: Develop and create original still and video content ideas that align with the brand’s messaging and target audience.
  • Scripting and Storyboarding: Collaborate with Social Team to write scripts and create storyboards for content.
  • Filming and Editing: Capture and edit video content using industry-standard software and equipment to ensure quality, visually appealing and thumb-stopping content.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and features on TikTok, Stories and Reels to create relevant and trending content.
  • Feedback Integration: Actively seek and incorporate feedback from team members to improve content quality and engagement.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor video performance metrics, analyze data, and provide insights to refine content strategies.

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, production, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong passion for video content creation and brand storytelling
  • Proficiency in video and image editing software
  • Knowledge of TikTok, Stories and Reels best practices and trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative thinking and the ability to think outside of the box.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of photography and videography equipment
