Social Media and Community Manager Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Social Media and Communities Specialist to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of social media platforms.

As the Social Media and Communities Specialist, you will be responsible for managing Delinea’s online communities, engaging with our audience, and driving brand awareness and engagement across various social media channels. What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth across platforms such as LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), and others, as well as relevant community groups.
  • Foster engagement and interaction within Delinea’s online communities, including monitoring and responding to comments, and messages that extend the conversation and position Delinea as a thought leader.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, and foster meaningful interactions with our audience.
  • Create and curate engaging content tailored to different social media channels, including posts, articles, graphics, videos, and interactive content.
  • Develop and implement social media and community strategies to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth across various platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives and marketing goals.
  • Cultivate relationships with influencers, industry leaders, and brand advocates to amplify Delinea’s messaging and broaden our audience reach, while staying abreast of industry trends and emerging social media technologies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute social media campaigns, promotions, and initiatives aligned with business objectives and marketing goals.
  • Analyse social media performance metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports and insights to optimise strategies and improve results.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging social media technologies, and incorporate innovative approaches to enhance Delinea’s social media and community presence.
  • Collaborate closely with all internal teams to develop and execute social media posts and messaging that align with Delinea’s brand voice and marketing objectives, contributing to the overall brand awareness and engagement strategy.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the curve in social media marketing.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience in social media management, community management, or digital marketing, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging content.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and design.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content creation software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
