The Social Media Analyst is responsible for the execution of the social media content plans and strategies utilizing leading social media platforms. This role monitors social media channels providing updated content and corresponding with each respective audience. The Social Media Analyst will collaborate with the marketing team and outside departments to provide recommendations that support business unit objectives.

What You’ll Do

As a Social Media Analyst, you will:

  • Execute social media content plans that are consistent with strategies set ensuring consistent brand and product communication throughout all digital channels.
  • Engage with social audiences while respectfully responding and delegating social questions or complaints internally for review.
  • Utilize organic and insight features within Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other leading social platforms to provide insight on performance.
  • Build, monitor and report paid social campaigns across Meta and LinkedIn.
  • Analyze online conversations with an emphasis on social listening and provide actionable recommendations to cross-functional teams
  • Monitor and respond to social reviews on Facebook, TripAdvisor, Yelp, Google My Business, Glassdoor, etc.
  • Frequently review and update social accounts and review listings across platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to provide recommendations on digital strategies that align with offline and online marketing programs and support business unit objectives.
  • Maintain organization of all upcoming social media plan within calendar.

Additionally, You Will

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other business unit associates, company executives, and outside communication sources.
  • Export high-level reporting data for business areas as needed.
  • Participate in planning monthly organic content.
  • Tag inbound and outbound messages for reporting.

What It Takes

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in marketing, communications, advertising or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of related professional social media experience
  • Experience utilizing organic features within Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Ability to think strategically and align marketing plans with business objectives
  • Experience with social listening and brand monitoring
  • Excellent customer service skills Organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to set priorities, adjust priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
