Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the go-to resource for information related to social media platforms and their respective online communities.
  • Brand Opportunities: Proactively seek out brand opportunities through social listening and authentic connection with influencers and brand advocates.
  • Competitor Monitoring: Monitor competitors and analyze organic performance to inform reporting and optimization strategies.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of all content, both paid and organic.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay abreast of trends and provide timely recommendations for clients to capitalize on key moments to reinforce their brand consistently.

Other Essential Duties:

  • Content Brief Development: Contribute to content brief development and lead content kickoff workshops.
  • Reports and Insights: Develop reports and collaborate across teams to proactively elevate insights and opportunities.
  • Live Events: Act as the key content representative during live events and activations.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on new social media platforms, ad offerings, content publishers, tools, trends, and best practices.
  • Campaign Planning: Participate in annual integrated campaign planning.
  • Communication: Write POVs and recommendations for brand actions and real-time marketing opportunities.
  • Training: Assist in training and onboarding new team members.
  • Brainstorms: Participate in brainstorms and facilitate when appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant content experience, agency experience preferred.
  • Social Media Management: Proven experience in managing a brand’s social channels and measuring success.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication and persuasion skills.
  • Multitasking: Exceptional ability to multitask, prioritize, and be adaptable to change.
  • Autonomous Work: Ability to work autonomously and take the lead on projects.
  • Attention to Detail: Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Problem Solving: Creative problem solver with strong critical thinking skills to manage the unknown.
