The Marketing Designer plays a vital role in passionately, creatively, and professionally communicating to the Club Fit Membership and the local community about the importance of living a healthy and active lifestyle.

This role is dedicated to helping people better understand the benefits of exercise and why Club Fit is the ideal choice to help them achieve their personal health and fitness goals.

Operational:

  • Assess marketing plans and promotions assigned by the Marketing Director.
  • Create marketing messaging and systems to drive membership and program sales.
  • Contribute to the development, communication, and execution of marketing goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Participate in managing Social Media Pages for Club Fit.
  • Execute marketing initiatives in an agreed-upon timely fashion.
  • Specialize in various activities, including but not limited to flyer creation, website updates, social media graphics, and internal/external events.

Communication:

  • Maintain critical communication with the Marketing Director and the club management team. Understand requested deadlines and communicate promptly when difficulties arise.
  • Adhere to the Club Fit standard of a 24-hour response time for all communications.
  • Inform the Marketing Director of any attendance changes.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm and an upbeat attitude when interacting with others.

Professional and Technical Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Related experience in Graphic Design Preferred. Photography relevant field is a strong advantage and preferred.
  • Photography and Videography skills, including photo and video editing, are a plus.
  • A good understanding of office management and marketing principles.
  • Proficiency in market research techniques and database management.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and design software such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Stay current on social media trends, create, design, and work in conjunction with the Marketing Director and Marketing Designers on social media postings. Platforms may include, but are not limited to: HootSuite, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Google Business Pages.
  • Be responsive in communicating back on social media posts within a 24-hour period.
  • Exquisite communication and people skills.

Team Work:

  • Support department cross-training and coverage.
  • Collaborate with:
    • Mail services and the communication team to execute projects.
    • Department managers to understand objectives of marketing initiatives and leverage club resources appropriately.
  • Offer assistance to coworkers when appropriate to help manage workloads and ensure completion of projects.
