STO Building Group is seeking a Digital Content & Social Media Manager to join our dynamic marketing and communications team.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in managing our corporate social media accounts, developing content strategies, and enhancing our digital presence. You’ll collaborate with internal and external partners to create engaging content, drive audience engagement, and monitor performance.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

  • Lead and manage all corporate social media accounts, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
  • Prepare and manage the social media content calendar, ensuring timely and strategic content delivery.
  • Generate and curate high-quality content aligned with corporate priorities and brand guidelines.
  • Plan and coordinate advertising campaigns, monitor budget utilization, and review campaign performance.
  • Monitor interactions, engagement, and sentiments across corporate social platforms and ensure consistent and high-quality communication.
  • Collaborate with business unit social media managers, providing guidance and support to enhance their social media efforts.
  • Organize and conduct training programs to enhance internal social media knowledge and engagement.
  • Manage the relationship with social media vendors, overseeing messaging and performance improvement.
  • Develop annual plans in coordination with the Director of Digital Marketing and refine them to meet overall goals.

Internal Intranet Site Content Management & Administration:

  • Work closely with the communications team to manage the internal intranet platform, sharing STOBG news and communications.
  • Monitor news feeds from various business units, departments, and groups to identify relevant content for all staff.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing & Communications to ensure timely sharing of relevant information.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of intranet sections, addressing user experience issues.

Training:

  • Organize and facilitate training sessions for social media managers, content owners, and relevant staff.
  • Build social media communities and provide guidance on content-related processes.

Project Management / Campaign Implementation:

  • Manage multiple projects and campaigns, including external initiatives.
  • Develop communication plans for various initiatives and report on performance and key insights.
  • Brainstorm and implement creative campaigns and strategies.
  • Support copywriting and editing tasks for both internal and external content.

Collaboration/Brainstorming:

  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing/Communication leads to establish priorities and goals.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for story and promotional campaign development.

Employee Engagement:

  • Identify and engage experts within the organization for promotional and business initiatives.
  • Develop communication plans for internal and external audiences.
  • Support training sessions and community investment opportunities.

Graphic Skills:

  • Create digital communication posts using graphic design tools such as Illustrator, PowerPoint, InDesign, and Photoshop.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or English.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing or social media roles, with at least 3 years in social media management.
  • 3 years of experience in internal communications and intranet management.
  • Experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry preferred.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal clients and external vendors.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends and updates.
  • Insight into internal communications and employee engagement.
  • Web development or technical experience with websites and intranets is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Salary Range:

Desired salary range of $75,000 – $100,000, flexible depending on years of experience.
