As an Associate Director of Paid Social Media, you will be responsible for providing consulting and marketing services to their clients:

What You’ll Do

  • Effectively manage and mentor direct reports to develop their skills as it relate to account management, communication, client services, and retention strategy
  • Ensure deliverables for your clients are completed on-time
  • Proactively look for opportunities for team success/growth.
  • Effectively analyze issues and work to formulate actionable solutions based on findings with minimal direction.
  • Manage and execute digital marketing services through Ads Manager. This would include Facebook and Instagram Advertising and could also include Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, etc.
  • Manage medium to large clients independently with very limited oversight.
  • Completely understands and is skilled at media buying without supervision.
  • Facilitate successful onboarding of new customers, develop initial digital marketing strategies, and configure appropriate retainers.
  • Establish customer and support practices by creating and maintaining policies and procedures that optimize the client experience.
  • Benchmark, measure, and report on campaign performance
  • Manage post-sale activity for clients with a focus on relationship building, planning, coaching, and execution.
  • Maintain standard operating procedures for client relationship management, weekly reporting, and monthly reporting.
  • Run weekly/bi-weekly calls with direct client engagement, managing relationships with the agency (including QBRs and other meeting/reporting needs that arise)
  • Maintain internal best practice guides and report on industry updates, operational best practices, and new technologies.
  • Understands paid social best practices for success and can successfully implement and speak to all channel-specific features relevant to a client’s business.
  • Bring new proactive ideas and solutions oriented strategies to help achieve client goals and grow the business.

What You Need

  • Track record of academic achievement, leadership, and involvement at a top institution
  • 5+ years of professional experience, specifically within Facebook Ads Manager (TikTok + other platforms a plus)
  • 1+ years of managing a team.
  • 2+ years of client relationship management
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Hardworking and internally motivated
  • Determined to find solutions when discussing problems
  • Proactive and creative critical thinkers
  • Understand that there are levels of strategy that go into digital marketing that go beyond the scope of media buying
  • Able to navigate tools/platforms outside of ads manager (MTA tools a plus, but not required)
  • Understands the impact creative can have on an account. Can effectively conceptualize creative, advise on creative, and take a part in iterating creative in order to scale accounts.
  • Knows how to A/B test and dive into findings at a more granular level
  • Team player actively engages with other people in the department to share findings, and higher-level insights and contribute to the culture.

  • This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position.

  • Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm (+/- 1 hour accepted) – EST.
