We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic Social Media Manager to spearhead our online presence. You’ll be the architect of our social media strategy, weaving insightful product/service expertise with captivating storytelling. Beyond platform mastery, you’ll become a vocal champion for our brand, engaging audiences and shaping industry conversations while staying on top of social media trends.

Key responsibilities:

Crafting content that compels:

  • Develop a data-driven social media strategy aligned with our content strategy, communication strategy, core differentiators, value proposition, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to produce engaging and visually appealing social media content showcasing our product/service’s strengths and impact on customers, including text posts, image concepts, motion graphic ideas, and videos aligning with the Navigate brand.
  • Stay abreast of industry news and trends, weaving them into engaging narratives that spark conversation and establish thought leadership.
  • Utilize Sprout Social platform for scheduling, publishing, social listening, and monitoring social media activity.
  • Knowledge of social media advertising and paid campaigns.

Connecting beyond the screen:

  • Be the on-screen face of Navigate, confidently delivering short vignettes, Q&A sessions, and live streams aligned with our brand voice and messaging.
  • Engage authentically with audiences, responding to comments, messages, and reviews, fostering a thriving online community.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to ensure consistent brand identity across all channels.

Mastering the landscape:

  • Analyze social media performance, track key metrics, gleaning insights from data to optimize future campaigns and maximize engagement.
  • Generate reports and insights to inform future strategy and optimize campaigns.
  • Conduct competitor analysis, identifying opportunities to differentiate our brand and amplify our message.
  • Stay ahead of the curve, exploring emerging social media trends and tools, and recommending their strategic integration.

Education and position requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Digital Media, with coursework in social media marketing, digital marketing, or online communication.
  • OR Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Marketing, English, or Business, combined with demonstrably strong social media and content creation skills and experience.
  • Certifications in social media management or related platforms like Sprout Social.
  • Portfolio demonstrating social media experience and the performance associated with the experience.

Experience, skills, and characteristics

  • 2-5 years of experience in social media management, preferably within a B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of growing social media followings and driving engagement through compelling content.
  • Deep understanding of your company’s product/service, industry landscape, and social media best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable speaking confidently on camera and in-person.
  • Strong emphasis on communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to create visually appealing and impactful social media content.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Time-management and organizational skills.
  • Passion for social media and the digital landscape.

  • Understanding of SEO and social media optimization.
