Key Job Responsibilities:

● Community Engagement: Interact with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions, fostering a sense of community and building relationships with the audience.

● Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media analytics to track performance metrics such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

● Social Media Calendar Management: Assist in creating and maintaining a content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting across all platforms.

● Research and Trend Analysis: Stay updated on current trends and best practices in social media marketing, as well as trends specific to the organization’s industry or cause.

● Campaign Support: Aid in the execution of social media campaigns, including brainstorming ideas, creating assets, scheduling posts, and monitoring campaign performance.

● Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, such as graphic designers, copywriters, and marketing managers, to coordinate social media efforts and maintain brand consistency.

● Research and Outreach: Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential influencers or partners for collaboration opportunities to expand the organization’s reach and impact.

Qualifications:

● Ability to effectively communicate ideas and engage with audiences across various social media platforms through written and verbal communication.

● Capacity to think creatively and develop engaging content that resonates with target audiences and reflects the organization’s brand voice and values.

● Proficiency in using popular social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others, including an understanding of platform-specific best practices.

● Knowledge of graphic design principles and proficiency in using design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite to create visually appealing social media content.

● Ability to interpret social media analytics and metrics to assess performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.

● Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and maintain an organized workflow, especially in a fast-paced environment.

● Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and content teams, to support integrated marketing initiatives and maintain brand consistency.

● Capacity to troubleshoot issues, address challenges, and find creative solutions to optimize social media performance and achieve organizational goals.

● Pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field is often preferred, but not always required. Previous coursework or relevant experience in social media marketing is a plus.
