SunButter is seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join their team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in Social Media Marketing by assisting with research, content creation, campaign planning and implementation, and social media platform management.

The intern will play a key role in increasing brand awareness, attracting new followers, and engaging the current audience by staying informed on trends and topics. This is a paid internship with flexible scheduling and offers real-world experience, mentorship, and potential full-time roles for outstanding candidates upon graduation.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Social Platform Management (25% – 50%)
   • Create monthly social content calendar.
   • Engage with social platforms daily.
   • Write effective copy for social content.
   • Stay updated on social media best practices.
   • Report on analytics.
   • TikTok organic content creation.
2. Influencer Relations (15% – 25%)
   • Learn the Tagger Influencer Management platform.
   • Approve influencer content.
   • Follow up and catalog influencer deliverables.
   • Manage product requests for influencers.
   • Explore and outreach to potential influencers.
3. Brand Collabs (10% – 20%)
   • Assist with discovery and outreach to brands for collaborations.
   • Create content for monthly brand collaborations.
4. Other (10% – 20%)
   • Handle miscellaneous creative tasks.
   • Learn the ShuttleRock platform.
   • Support Red River Commodities with branding/creative tasks.
   • Potentially attend tradeshows and assist with setup.

Job Requirements:

• Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Willingness to learn and gain hands-on experience.
• Great organizational skills.
• Proficient knowledge of major social media platforms.
• High attention to detail.
• Creative mindset with problem-solving skills.
• Highly motivated and goal-oriented.
• Time-management skills.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel), and video editing experience are a plus.
