The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Digital Marketing Specialist to play a pivotal role in developing, executing, and tracking the performance of our social media and email campaigns. This position is integral to our marketing efforts and supports various department initiatives and campaigns. Responsibilities:

50% – Social Media and Email Campaigns:

  • Manage and strategize the creation, execution, and performance tracking of NAIA social media campaigns on multiple platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook).
  • Utilize the Sprout social platform for scheduling, creating tracking links, and organizing multiple social posters in two departments, including quarterly tracking of performance and KPIs.
  • Create and execute various email campaigns on Constant Contact, including sponsor, member, product, and brand campaigns.
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis on open rates and click-through rates (CTR).

50% – Marketing Support:

  • Assist in measuring and reporting the performance of all digital marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics.
  • Implement marketing initiatives across various media channels.
  • Create written, digital, and graphic content for social media, email campaigns, presentations, event programs, and more.
  • Support marketing department campaign reporting using Google Analytics, Sprout, Google Ad Words, and Lucky Orange.
  • Manage membership and target audience lists through ongoing data acquisition and database management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate and update website edits for various departments using Presto Sports CRM.
  • Support overall NAIA communications, coordination of advertising campaigns, association events, and fundraising events.
  • Contribute to daily activities leading to the completion of marketing projects and tasks.

Requirements:

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, or communications.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, and social media (considering more experience for manager-level roles).
  • Strong writing, editing, and analytic skills.
  • Experience with Adobe products (Photoshop, Motion Ray, InDesign) and/or Canva.
  • Email and social marketing experience; knowledge of Constant Contact and Sprout a bonus.
  • Content creation for social, email, print, and video editing.
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office and Adobe applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, InDesign, and Photoshop).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and handle multiple tasks and projects.
  • Ability to work independently with general direction and as part of a team environment.
