Job Responsibilities:

• Manage client social media accounts and texting programs, including growing social followings, collecting SMS opt-ins, and online fundraising.
• Gather data for internal and client-facing reports.
• Create and post content on various platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc., ensuring a consistent and engaging posting cadence.
• Develop graphics and short-form videos for social media.
• Research relevant issues for social media content.
• Contribute to texting production and develop additional assets.
• Support the social and texting team on various projects.
• Stay informed about political news and trends in progressive politics and social media.

Qualifications:

• Interest in professional social media management and online fundraising for political campaigns.
• Commitment to and knowledge of progressive politics.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and trends.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt copy for different platforms.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage tight deadlines.
• Basic graphic design and video editing skills (preferred but not required).

Salary and Benefits:

• Starting salary between $57,000 – $62,000.
