WeTransfer is looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to strengthen our brand awareness and grow an engaged audience across our social media channels. The ideal candidate will have experience managing social media accounts for a brand, publisher or organization, and will be able to create content strategies that focus on growth and engagement in line with marketing goals, while keeping cultural relevance and creativity at their heart to ensure that WeTransfer stands out from its competitors.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the overall strategy, direction and tone for WeTransfer’s social media channels with a focus on growth and engagement in accordance with brand marketing KPIs
• Manage social media team responsible for content creation across multiple channels
• Work with the content, marketing and CSR teams to formulate strategies for project performance and amplification
• Actively identify opportunities to maximize and engage with our audiences, and attract new audiences through social campaigns and outreach
• Identify new growth opportunities and best practices based on emerging digital trends, competitive business intelligence, and consumer insight and pivot strategies when needed
• Create comprehensive social marketing plans to boost brand image, increase engagement and improve brand awareness
• Create innovative social media campaigns for talent partnerships and cultural commissions
• Design, implement and manage social ad campaigns integrated into the company’s strategic marketing plans
• Create and own influencer strategy, and find ways to engage existing creative partners and artists across social campaigns
• Ensure brand fit and curation across all social channels
• Monitor brand reputation across channels and run social listening campaigns periodically
• Identify emerging social trends and implement appropriate strategies
• Track social media campaigns’ key performance metrics to maximize results and report progress to management.
• Create comprehensive reports to show successes and learnings as needed.

Skills Required

• A minimum of 6+ years experience as a social media manager and proficiency across numerous social channels
• Proven experience of creating social content for channel growth and engagement
• A deep understanding of web and social analytics, and experience of creating robust reports based on data
• An understanding of brand safety across social media
• Creativity, a wealth of innovative ideas and the ability to ideate and create personality-led, engaging social first campaigns that make WeTransfer stand out from the competition and engage all aspects of our business, from product to creative campaigns
• Skills in video and image editing including proficiency in Adobe package (Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.) preferred
• Previous experience working with artists, creators and influencers
• An eye for what is trending in the social world and a curiosity for what is emerging, and an obsession for everything online
• A love of pop culture and the arts, and the agility to create campaigns that move at the pace of culture
• Great communication and collaboration skills
• A proactive and positive attitude. A talent for creative solutions, creativity and experimentation
• Fluency in English is a must
