We’re seeking a talented social content strategist and experienced community manager to join our growing team. As Tixr’s first in-house Social Media and Community Manager, you’ll be part of a collaborative global team building the fastest-growing, most exciting live event technology company on the planet.

As one of Tixr’s earliest marketing hires, you’ll report directly to the Vice President of Marketing and play a pivotal role in enhancing our online presence, driving brand awareness, and building positive brand association and equity. You will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, creative content creation, and optimizing performance. In partnership with our Fan Support team, you’ll also run point on listening, conversation, and community engagement to help customers get the support they need, develop a passionate and engaged Tixr user base, and build positive brand sentiment.

About You

You’re an active social media user with a knack for writing pithy copy and coming up with creative campaigns across channels and formats. You understand the difference between a voice and tone for a business and a consumer audience and what makes for engaging shareable content. You’re hyper-efficient with your time, and you’re just as comfortable interfacing with internal teams as the true voice of the customer as well as representing the company and brand online. You’ve set up social media scheduling and monitoring tools to optimize your workflow, and can draw meaningful insights from metrics.

Work-Life

While this is a Los Angeles-based hybrid role, we’ll want you in the office as much as possible, especially in the early days, so you can establish relationships and efficiently get the answers you need. This is an exciting position that will make a huge impact on our trajectory as a company and the strength of our brand. Responsibilities

  • Social Media Strategy:
    • Developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Tixr’s branding and marketing goals.
    • Identify and implement innovative approaches to maximize Tixr’s presence and engagement across various social media platforms.
    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging social media tools to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Content Creation and Curation:
    • Create compelling and shareable content for Tixr’s social media channels, including but not limited to graphics, videos, and written content.
    • Collaborate with the design team to ensure visually appealing and on-brand content.
    • Keep tabs on major events and onsales to curate Tixr.com and maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule.
  • Community Engagement& Insights:
    • Foster an active and engaged community of event organizers, ticket buyers, and industry.
    • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across social media channels and review websites (e.g. Trust Pilot) promptly and professionally.
    • Listen to the community’s feedback, suggestions, and concerns, and act as their advocate within Tixr by providing actionable insights for product improvements and marketing strategies.
  • Reputation Management:
    • Monitor online conversations and sentiment related to Tixr, taking proactive steps to enhance our brand reputation.
    • Address negative comments and reviews professionally and constructively, aiming to turn detractors into advocates.
    • Collaborate with customer support and PR teams to address and mitigate reputation-related issues promptly.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Monitor social media KPIs and generate regular reports to measure the effectiveness of social media efforts.
    • Use data insights to optimize strategies and content for better engagement and growth.
    • Identify and track relevant metrics to gauge community health and sentiment.
  • Partnership and Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with employees, event organizers, and integration partners to develop creative content and amplify Tixr’s brand presence.
    • Seek out and establish strategic partnerships to expand the reach of Tixr’s social media initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven, well-rounded experience in social media management, community management, and reputation management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with high emotional intelligence.
  • Proficiency across legacy and emerging social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, TikTok), community management tools (e.g. Sprout Social, Later.com), and content creation software (e.g. Canva, Figma, Photoshop).
  • Track record of successfully increasing follower count and engagement across platforms.
  • A genuine interest in fostering an online community while safeguarding a brand’s reputation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with diverse online communities.
  • Passionate about the live event industry, whether it be music festivals, themed attractions, sporting events, artist tours, or nightlife.
  • Thrives in a high-growth environment where change is the norm and there are infinite opportunities to learn.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects at once and can prioritize accordingly.

The Perks

  • Salary Range $60,000 – $84,000 DOE + Bonus + Equity
