As a part of our marketing team, the Social Media Coordinator will assist the marketing department with its social media program planning and delivery for both our corporate and field accounts.

The coordinator will collaborate with the Social Media Specialist and Associate Director of Campaign Management to build the social media calendars for all platforms. This position is responsible for coordinating features and approval processes, as well as assisting with scheduling for social media photography and video shoots.

This role is responsible for accurately deploying corporate and field posts and prepares social media reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data around results of deliverables.

The coordinator works directly with the Social Media Specialist, Campaign Management team and leadership to adjust future campaigns based on results.

What will you be doing?

  • Works with the Social Media Specialist to build out monthly Social Media calendar for corporate and field posts.
  • Initiates work with Campaign Management team and assists in process to ensure on-time delivery of creative.
  • Schedules features and assists with scheduling photography and video shoots for social media content.
  • Coordinates media releases and full approval processes for social media content.
  • Responsible for deploying and managing posts through approved software systems.
  • Accountable for communication within Campaign Management Team ensuring clear and timely directions.
  • Assists with social media monitoring on all platforms.
  • Prepares reports and provides recommendations based on data to improve reach, engagement and followers.
  • Actively identify and suggest process improvement opportunities.

What skills/qualifications do you need?

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Business preferred

Work Experience

  • 2+ years’ marketing, advertising or graphic design experience desired with primary focus on social media development and production
    • Experience in the financial services industry desired

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Understanding of marketing and creative operations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management and other departments
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience/understanding with spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, social platforms and creative workflow applications
  • Must be motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
