Under direct supervision, employees in this role will receive mentoring and practical hands-on experience in career-related activities relevant to the student’s area of study or specialization.

Salary: Varies

• Base Pay: $15.00
• Offer amount based on College’s Salary Schedule guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities: (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary)

• Create content for social media platforms in accordance with department marketing initiatives.
• Monitor social media accounts for comments and messages.
• Brainstorm and execute innovative strategies to enhance audience engagement.
• Adhere to work hours, policies, procedures, and staff behavior rules.
• Maintain strict adherence to policies governing confidentiality and the handling of confidential information.
• Apply knowledge acquired in the academic setting to the work being performed.
• Prepare for and make the most of learning opportunities.
• Consistently and punctually submit all work assignments.
• Provide periodic progress updates to management.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Actively enrolled at a regionally accredited college or university.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
• Completion of 30 or more credit hours of college coursework or 50% of the applicable trade or certificate program.
• 18 years of age or older on the first day of employment.

Knowledge of:

• Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications.
• Various social media platforms.

Skilled in:

• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Verbal and written communications.

Ability to:

• Demonstrate critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
• Work with diverse populations and individuals at varying education levels.
