Under direct supervision, employees in this role will receive mentoring and practical hands-on experience in career-related activities relevant to the student’s area of study or specialization.
Salary: Varies
- Base Pay: $15.00
- Offer amount based on College’s Salary Schedule guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities: (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary)
- Create content for social media platforms in accordance with department marketing initiatives.
- Monitor social media accounts for comments and messages.
- Brainstorm and execute innovative strategies to enhance audience engagement.
- Adhere to work hours, policies, procedures, and staff behavior rules.
- Maintain strict adherence to policies governing confidentiality and the handling of confidential information.
- Apply knowledge acquired in the academic setting to the work being performed.
- Prepare for and make the most of learning opportunities.
- Consistently and punctually submit all work assignments.
- Provide periodic progress updates to management.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Actively enrolled at a regionally accredited college or university.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
- Completion of 30 or more credit hours of college coursework or 50% of the applicable trade or certificate program.
- 18 years of age or older on the first day of employment.
Knowledge of:
- Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications.
- Various social media platforms.
Skilled in:
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Verbal and written communications.
Ability to:
- Demonstrate critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
- Work with diverse populations and individuals at varying education levels.
