The Social Media and Content Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, creating, and posting original, engaging, and branded marketing content across all College of Humanities, Arts & Sciences (CHAS) social media platforms in support of CHAS and Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center (GBPAC) marketing strategies.

This role involves managing day-to-day content using social media management tools, website management, serving as a contact for marketing partners for social media, monitoring, analyzing, and responding to social media content, providing regular metrics and reports to the CHAS departments, including the GBPAC and other centers, and evaluating emerging digital platforms and trends.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in social media, digital media, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience working with a variety of social media platforms.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and proofreading skills.
  • Versatility in writing styles, including social media, web content, and marketing copy.
  • Experience in capturing and editing photos/videos and creating graphics using Adobe Creative Suite and other tools.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • A student experience will be considered.
  • Occasional work outside normal office hours and occasional travel will be necessary.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics reporting preferred.
