Geosyntec has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Coordinator-Social Media in Denver, CO, remote work location, or a hybrid schedule, at the company’s discretion.

The position will assist with the strategy and implementation of the firm’s internal and external web and social media content. The role will work collaboratively with staff throughout the company in support of overall marketing efforts.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Develop compelling and high-quality content for social media channels, including videos, photos, and text-based posts.
  • Audience Segmentation: Analyze and understand our target audience’s preferences, interests, and behaviors to create content that resonates with different segments.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with the Principal Digital Marketing Manager to develop a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and brand voice.
  • Content Calendar: Create and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and timely content delivery.
  • Social Media Management: Manage and monitor relevant social media accounts, responding to comments, messages, and engaging with the audience.
  • Visual Design: Utilize graphic design tools and software to create visually appealing and shareable content in collaboration with the graphics team as needed.
  • Video Production: Produce and edit video content for social media, including product demonstrations, tutorials, and promotional videos.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor the performance of social media campaigns and content, using analytics tools to track key metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up to date with industry trends, social media algorithms, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for engagement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, designers, and other departments to ensure content is aligned with overall marketing initiatives.

Skills, Experience And Qualifications

  • BS/BA in communications, journalism, public relations, or related discipline and 2 years of experience developing strategies, plans, and content for external; or 6 years of relevant experience without a degree. (required)
  • Ability to write, edit, and quality-check materials, communications, and other media content targeted to internal and external audiences, ensuring that it is organized, clearly presented, focused on the subject at hand, and furthers the Geosyntec brand. (required)
  • Ability to write/rewrite copy for inclusion in correspondence, collateral marketing materials, and presentations conforming to prescribed style and format. (required)
  • Demonstrated writing skills, including ability to craft a story in a compelling manner. (required)
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of office equipment and the most recent release of MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and database software; and strong graphic design skills. (required)

Below is the range that we in good faith believe is the potential compensation for this role at the time of this posting and is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado.

The typical base salary range for this position is just one component of Geosyntec’s total compensation package for employees. Actual compensation will be determined based on education, experience, skill set and location.

  • Minimum Wage: $30.00/hourly
  • Maximum Wage: $42.00/hourly
